Recently the shootings at Virginia Tech University had 33 die was the worst shooting in US history. This thing gave many students shocked and upset, at the same time also alert people worried about the safety on a college campus. In this tragedy, many students were bothered by the 2 hours interval between shootings, questioning why the gunman was not caught, why the university didn’t notify people faster, and why the university was not immediately shut down. I think it’s very sad and saddened by it. Also, I think university has part of responsibility for this crime, because if school had shut down at the first attack then won’t have this many people would die in this thing. Somehow, there is a warning for campus safety problem. Many students and parents have thought that living on-campus is better off-campus for safety, because there are many securities around on-campus. However, I think that is so wrong, no place is safe, only we can protect ourselves
